Job Description:
Direct reporting to the Chief Operation Officer and functional reporting to group regional lead buyer.
Be responsible for the strategic implementation of the company's procurement model.
Leading a small team, develop purchasing strategies and applying group purchasing policies and play a key role in the planning and integration of global procurement activities.
Evaluate vendor performance, optimize quality, drive cost reductions and streamline the supplier base.
Together with other team to ensure production continuation and in the mean time lowering the working capital needed in purchase activities.
Together QA and QC team to ensure the purchased materials are in lines with group's quality standard
Collect and compile raw material market information for senior management.
Exploit trading opportunities for defined products and closely work with trading department to share the business performance target
Qualification:
Minimum of 6 years management experience in procurement in a feed company, food&beverage manufacturer or trading company which has relevant sourcing category.
Have an in depth experience in sourcing and procuring raw materials in China.
Have strong commercial sense combined with excellent strategic planning, negotiation, people management and organizational skills.
Fluency in Chinese and English are essential.
